With the holidays right around the corner, please consider buying your gifts from small local businesses or directly through artisans. Etsy (www.Etsy.com) is a great place to find a variety of handmade gifts. Many of the shop owners, myself included, are happy to create custom orders for customers.
I've been lining up holiday shows now that the farmers market season is coming to a close. For now, I'll be selling my handmade jewelry, hand painted wooden signs, hand painted greeting cards, and plush items at the Bandon Old Town Marketplace on Fridays and Saturdays. The marketplace is open from 10 am until 4 pm. It is located in the big green building on the waterfront in Bandon, Oregon. The market will be open twice a week through December 14th, 2013.
I'll continue to update this blog as I confirm the details of other holiday craft shows.
On average, I usually have around 200 items available in my online store www.Etsy.com/shop/ReprievesCorner. This is a great option for those that can't visit my booth in person.
